Hans de Groot

 Upon completion of his studies at the Teachers Seminary, Artz worked as a teacher and simultaneously attended art classes at the Art Academy in his hometown of Arnhem. His artistic talent led him to various communication media: television, theatre, advertising plaques and ofcourse painting.  At present he is concentrating on a realism approach in which he incorporates his previous styles together with the use of acrylic color on canvas. On material, the painting becomes a vibrant surface full of life, exciting the eye of the beholder, capturing his attention and impressing him. Artz takes his subjects from pictures he finds and embarks on a journey of playing with shapes and incorporating color until the work is complete esthetically, exciting and interesting.
